An Evening With the UK ICO - event paper
The City of London Law Society Data Law Committee partnered with the Law Society and CMS to provide the opportunity for members of the legal profession (both in private practice and in-house) to hear from the recently appointed UK Information Commissioner, Mr John Edwards. The evening covered the approach of the ICO to regulation, ICO guidance, Artificial Intelligence and its impact on data, international data flows, and data protection and digital information legislation.
