CLLS Submission - ISU-Consultation

The CLLS Company Law Committee submitted its Response to the House of Commons Sub-Committee on National Security and Investment Call for Evidence: “Information Sharing by the ISU”. The committee called for more frequent and more open communication between the ISU and parties, thereby reducing the need for judicial review of decisions. They were of the view that outcomes should be more aware of commercial considerations while addressing the government’s legitimate national security concerns. The committee called for publication of remedy templates; annual reports setting out issues and pathways to their being resolved; and greater openness in communication.
