CLLS - Response to call for evidence on Courts and Tribunals Bill 2026 - 11 03 26

The City of London Law Society's Corporate Crime and Corruption Committee responded to the Justice Committee’s Call for Evidence on the Courts and Tribunals Bill 2026. The submission focused on provisions within Part 1 of the Bill, and in particular those that affect trials of “complex and lengthy cases” (including fraud, bribery, corruption, and other financial crime), which are areas of expertise and concern for the CLLS, although the committee commented on certain other provisions of relevance given their significance.
