Construction Law
Summary
The Construction Law Committee is a forum for senior lawyers working in or around the City of London. It considers legal developments relevant to the construction and infrastructure sectors. Related legal issues are covered, including procurement, project delivery, contracts, new laws, digital construction, operations and maintenance, construction security and dispute resolution. The Committee’s purview includes both UK and international projects. Its members include many leading practitioners from private practice, as well as observers who represent major contractors, professional consultants and insurers.

Francis is a highly experienced Partner in London specialising in major construction and infrastructure projects, advising on complex, multi-tiered and fast-paced schemes and procurement across the full lifecycle both in the UK and internationally (particularly across EMEA), including dispute settlements and distressed projects. He has a deep interest in market issues affecting the construction industry. He has served on the Committee since 2014 and was previously Vice-Chair. He is qualified in England & Wales and Ireland and occasionally posts on X at @fkyh.
